Got my second (Moderna) vaccination.
No obvious side effects.
I drove to Estrella and flew solos #6-8.
On #7 I caught a thermal and worked it nearly 2000 feet. The best thing? When a soaring bird flew past me. S/he was apparently totally cool with me being there but for my part I was, “Show me where the lift is, dude.”
I turned and followed to the next thermal where two others were circling.
Man, it was awesome to be part of that.
That evening I rode Nada 3 to Larry’s house. The catalytic converter/muffler he’d removed from his BMW R1100RT Merlin at 25k miles, when he installed a Remus exhaust, would be a significant upgrade for Nada 3 whose original exhaust had endured 138k miles and more than a quarter century of Michigan roads and my less than meticulous attitude toward moto-hygiene.
