Yesterday I was endorsed to fly as Pilot In Command in either of the Sandhill Soaring Club's two Grob G-103 sailplanes.
Naturally I chose to wear my lucky check ride shirt, though early in the day it was hidden by a sweater and a fleece jacket. One of the club members told me they "used to have" a member who always wore Hawaiian shirts, I guess it's my job to assume that mantle.
I made two solo flights on this unseasonably gorgeous early November day in Michigan. Fall colors are often long gone by now.
That is all.
