Looks like Dad & Cathy will be in Colorado when I get there after all, so no excuse to ride on to Utah. Bit of a pity, that.
The forecast is looking decent for the ride west, though quite a bit warmer than I'd prefer on the plains and unfortunately increased chances of rain in Colorado.
As for the ride home I've been contemplating Option B2. I really want to do Option A, because it's a lot of places I've never been. But if the Sierra and the Rockies don't look rideable in late October when I start the return, and I have to exercise Option B:
I might just park Therese in Mom's garage and fly home with a return trip to Arizona next spring.
The idea of not riding across the plains...yet again...is very attractive. As for leaving my main machine in Arizona, well, it will be the end of the season anyway, and if there's decent weather and I get the itch I've always got Nada 3 to putter around in Michigan:
