I’ve never “chomped at the bit” to solo – I really do not want to go up alone before both Sasha and I feel I'm more than ready.
Still, I went in thinking this might be the day I’d solo.

Sasha made comments in my logbook like, "Steep magic turns like a pro".
But my landings and rollouts had failed to improve.
Sasha said, “I’m trying to get you to solo.”
But a solo endorsement cannot be made considering my mis-coordination of controls, a baffling tendency to occasionally step on the wrong rudder pedal once the ship's rolling on the ground, and inability to consistently keep the wings level all the way to a stop.
