Monday October 2nd...or maybe Tuesday the 3rd: via a route to be determined after departure and selected based on an unpredictable combination of factors including but not limited to weather, traffic, road construction, whim, and the severity of my Paul McCartney concert hangover... I'll head for dad's house in Colorado.
I'm not actually sure he'll be there...I haven't asked him yet...
No later than Saturday October 7: in Phoenix for Mom's birthday.
Wednesday October 11 - Saturday October 14: via a route comprised of absolutely immutable waypoints that Larry has meticulously charted and for which a comprehensive and detailed time-and-motion forecast has been created, fuel capacity and consumption (accounting for gradients, velocities, temperatures, and air density) vis-a-vis gasoline distribution network nodes analyzed, scenic opportunities cataloged, safety break locations indexed, reservations confirmed, and pavement convolutions optimized... Larry and Jana and I will end up in Monterey, California.
Sunday October 15: Larry and Jana will return to Phoenix and I will remain in "CA", which is all I know at the moment about the location of the Plex Product Management Group Q4 all-hands meeting.
I'm assuming it will be northern "CA".
Monday October 16 - Friday October 20: Wherever the meeting happens.
Saturday October 21: Head for home. Weather permitting I'll ride east over the Sierra Nevada, across Nevada and Utah, and if practical swing by Dad's. I may be obliged to take a warmer but longer southern route, in which case I'll be passing again through Phoenix.
Arrive home by Sunday the 29th.
